Street Racing-Too Fast Can End up Being too Furious with Your Life
Street racing has become a very popular sport in big and small towns around America. This has been also the source of main stream movies about the sport. Thou, these movies don’t portray the real life of a street racer. This article covers the subject of being safe while street racing.
This is the most important thing you need to keep in mind while racing. I know this is a given, but a lot of people do not follow simple rules that keep you safe. I will list a few points to keep you and others safe.
If you are racing on public road, you will have to be aware of non racing traffic. Racing on road that is not blocked off is dangerous and should be avoided in all areas that have normal traffic. Finding country roads to race on is great since most have very light traffic. Doing this will reduce the chances that you can hurt someone else besides yourself. Joining a street racing club will help you stay safe. Street racing clubs try and clear the roads when an event is happening, keeping non racing traffic out. This is a great safety feature that you should seek out whenever possible. Also, when you race, only race on roads that are straight or have only light bank turns. This will help you stay on the road and out of a tree.
Safety gear might sound weird in the street racing scene but not uncommon. Most professional street racers employ some type of crash safety gear. This can be a light but strong roll cage, helmets, neck braces, and racing restraint systems. Since the nature of street racing can be very unpredictable, you should use safety gear.
Next, watching the environment is a must if you’re trying to be professional. Snow and rain are common issues that street racers should avoid at all cost. Even if you don’t see them, you have a couple other issues that can cause your race to end badly. Oil on the road is not uncommon in places that try and maintain their roads, mainly in country areas. This is a slippery sealer they use to extend the life of the road, but it can shorten yours. The last thing to watch for is high winds. When you race you are dealing with high winds at high speeds normally. If the wind is high that day this adds to those winds, so just don’t race, save yourself money and your life.
This article will cover the last thing you should never do, ever. If you are going to race your very expensive car, do not do it while under the influence. Following this rule will help you and others stay safe while racing. This will also help give a better name for the sport if you don’t wipe out or kill someone while racing if your not high. Safety should be first whenever you race.
I hope you like this article and take away these important safety tips.
The game of golf is very confusing. And the longer you have been playing, the more you know that is an understatement. One day you are hitting the ball great off the tee, and the next you cannot stay out of the woods. On the front nine you hit nothing but shanks and break three clubs, but on the back you shoot your lowest nine-hole score - without using three clubs. There has to be some explanation to this phenomenon. Some reason why you can hit a ball so beautifully on the driving range and so poorly on the course. There is. It's your way of thinking. Here are some tips to improve the way you think on the golf course and lower your scores. Take this advice to the driving range and the course, and watch how low your handicap can get.
1. Always think of where you want the ball to go, not where you do not want the ball to go. Standing on the tee box of a hole with water down the right side, do not think "don't hit it in the water." You are only thinking of water, and guess where the ball usually goes. Instead, think "hit it at that distant tree down the middle of the fairway." Focus on where you want the ball to go. Always pick out a target for each shot. Golf is based on hitting the ball where you want it to go, so make sure you know exactly where you want the ball to go. No sharpshooter would shoot at a target without aiming the gun. The same principle applies to golf.
2. Every swing does not have to be perfect. How well you swing during a round is irrelevant. What matters is where the ball ends up. While on the course, there are "good golf shots" and "bad golf shots" - not good swings and bad swings. The course is the place to think about your target, not your swing. Thinking about your swing is saved for the driving range. Which would you prefer to have: a perfect iron swing that you hit to 40 feet from the hole or a thinned iron that rolls to 10 feet from the hole? A typical response to the second shot would be "#$*% that was a bad swing, I just got lucky." Luck is where opportunity meets preparation. Accept the outcome as good rather than accepting the swing was bad.
3. Practice like you play. Therefore, when you are at the driving range hitting ball after ball in rapidfire mode, stop. Spend 50% of your practice time working on your fundamentals and mechanics. Spend the rest of your practice time working on trusting practice. Hit each shot like you would on the course. That means pick out a specific target, go through your pre shot routine, and trust your swing. This will get you used to hitting shots at targets rather than just swinging.
First accept yourself, then expect others to do so: The actual looks of yours really doesn’t matter unless you are comfortable with it. There is something beautiful in everybody. So, stop thinking that you are not beautiful. Yes you are not that beautiful like those lovely TV models, but that doesn’t stop you being pretty.
Change what’s in your closet: Changing your style frequently gives you more confidence. It makes you more experienced about yourself, If you are comfortable with this type of cloth or that. Ask yourself when you are in front of the mirror, Do I look fine? Yeah I sure do. And the answers will tell you what to buy and what not. You will surely buy that suit you and your style, clothes that make you feel comfortable and good-looking.
Do think about caring your skin and hair: Never forget to make sure to always clean your skin. Do take shower twice everyday and get rid of pimples. Do care for your hairs. Wash them at least twice in a week.
Believe in nature than make up: Yeah make up do help changing your looks, But it makes you look more fake if not done properly. Try to do do new instead of doing more, less is more when it comes to make up, and if you really know how to do it. Glamour comes from within.
Give more time to yourself: Try new things in your spare time like a bubble bath or a new perfume or maybe a new outfit. You can go to health spa. Go get some time out of your busy life to just feel good, and you will surely feel more confident.
Discover your beauty within: Admire yourself. You can use your mirror. Just have a look at yourself, smile and speak out loud “I love myself”. Admire your clothes, hairs, tell yourself how pretty you look. Browse your photo albums often.
I have four boys under 8 years old, and I really enjoy planning my kid's birthday parties! I've learned a few tips by trial and error as far a themes, activities and ages go. Most of this advice pertains to parties planned at your home, but I have done this at a park and a church fellowship hall as well.
First, it's not always necessary to buy a specific party theme package, like a superhero or TV character. I've found buying the special themes are more expensive and the kid's have just a much fun playing with colorful basic supplies and decorations. I do however find that it is helpful to have a general theme, such as bubbles, sports, animals ect. When you are planning your food and activities a theme makes everything come together. For example having a bubble theme party might include a game using bubble wrap, a craft making bubble wands, food like marshmallows or something else that looks bubble like, and a treat bag for each kid that contains a small bottle of bubbles. That way the kids remember what was exciting about the party, and I find it makes planning seem less daunting.
When it comes to activities, I suggest having something the kids can do when they first show up without much supervision, whether it's playing with a specific toy, like legos, trains or balls, or having coloring paper out. Having it out and waiting for them will allow you to say hi to parents when they come, and keep the kids from getting out of control. Once everyone has arrived, try having one or two games planned, a craft, snacks and of course cake and presents. Keeping activities short, and moving along quickly will help keep the kids engaged, and make the whole experience more enjoyable.
I would recommend keeping parties for kid's eight and under to no longer than 2 hours. That seems to be a good length, and is enough time to get several activities done without losing control of the group. I always tell parents they are more then welcome to stay, but that it is not necessary. That way, I usually end up with enough other adults around to keep an eye on things, but not too crowded of a house. Also, I have found that keeping the age of the children invited as close to the age of your child makes a big difference. If your child is in kindergarten for example, resist the urge to invite all of his friend's siblings and other kids outside of kindergarten. Now of course, if you are family friends, and you want to include them, go ahead, but keep that in mind when you are planning your activities. As far as presents go, I have found that younger children love watching the birthday child open up his/her present, and I think that's a great thing to include, whereas older children may lose interest in the presents. If you do not include opening them at your party, definitely do not forget the thank you notes!
first you need to get a big plate. next make a layer of chips on the plate, cover with a layer of cheese. Then add some chili on top of the chips and cheese. Add more cheese, then add more chili. You can also add jalapenos, nacho cheese, and onions. pop the plate into the microwave for 45 seconds. Then add a final layer of cheese and chili. Add other desired ingredients now. Finally, pop the plate into the microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds. Enjoy!

Stone jewelry is beautiful, and somewhat rare. Being as most jewelry items like rings, are most commonly made from precious metals like gold and silver, that is why I say that stone jewelery is rare and therefore unique.
Should this " stone ring" shall we call it for our example, also be hand carved by yourself, then it would all the more rare and unique, doubling as a original piece of art. A true sculpture that will not only make you proud, but will likely last for centuries, perhaps being handed down from generation to generation. A true family heirloom. As a gift for a love one, created by your own hand out of love, this simple stone ring may just carry more value than silver or gold!
One may think that carving stone would be very hard to do and although it is not exactly easy, it might not be as hard as you think! The secret is finding the right stone. I'm sure that if you bring a stone carving project to completion you will find the whole experience a very satisfying and a very worthwhile endeavor.
For myself I think this project is much more satisfying and fun if you find your own stone on a rock hunt. I'll suggest where there might be a good place near you to fine your stone in a minute, but first lets talk about how to choose your stone. Your stone should not be to hard to carve like granite or quartz and not so soft that it will crumble like sand stone. Simple enough right?
back to where and how to find your stone. Most everyone knows where there is a nearby set of railroad tracks, watch out for trains however, railroad tracks are generally laid on top of rocks. Most of these rocks are too hard to carve, but the railroad companies often mix there rock beds to include a type of soft rock that can absorb moisture thus helping to keep the track beds dry. On nice day you might find a rarely used long stretch of track so that you can see and hear a long way in both directions in order to avoid any trains that may be coming.
You might bring a sack lunch with you and when your done eating don't litter, you can use the bag to carry a few choice rocks. Also bring along with you something sharp to scratch rocks with. That's how you find rocks that can be hand carved. If a stone is easy to scratch that's a good rock.
My favorite rock hunting tool is a simple flat file, but even a nail will work. I once used a old rusty railroad spike that I found laying next to the track.I've noticed that many softer carveable rocks are a often dull white or a dull green.look for those colors especially green.
Don't worry if the rock looks at first to be to ugly to be jewelry, trust me once carved and polished it we be gorgeous! the green ones sometimes look like jade, in fact it might even be a type of jade. Once you find a few stones go home, sit on porch with few rocks and a few tool and carve away. Take your time and don't be afraid to start over, it's just a rock for Pete's sake.
You would be smart to make sketch of what you want to end up with, even if you change your mind as you get closer to completion. Take a look at the sketch I made in this article. For tools you don't need anything fancy, I only use a drill bit, a file and a hack saw blade. But most of all be careful and fun. Good rock hunting
Before going for the interview, remember to do some googling on the company. Spend about 30 minutes on their corporate website. Check out the press releases section for the latest news. If it is a publicly traded company, check out when it was in news the last time and why.The interviewer wont expect you to know the company too well. But, it is important to have some knowledge about the company, the sector it operates in, its main products or solutions and major clients. Read about the organization, ask people about what they do, what their hiring policies are like, keep track of the company’s visit to other college campuses across India.
How you dress for an interview is perhaps as relevant as the way you lay out your resume. A person who is sloppy in appearance shows a sloppy personality, so you have to be decently dressed.Of course, decently dressed does not necessarily mean being dressed to the gills. A tie, shirt and pant should do the trick. Most HR experts would also tell you to mind the accessories like ties, belts and shoes. To be sure, badly matched shoes and ties can have a jarring effect on an interviewer. Similarly, please avoid heavy jewellery or personal accessories as they would look incongruous on you.
There is a common saying that minds are made up within the first 5 minutes of an interview. So keep in mind these important first impression indicators. Walk in the door as if you already work there, carry yourself as though you feel perfectly comfortable with the situation. Arrive on time or a little early. In the waiting area, politely tell the receptionist who you are meeting and in a friendly way, ask where you should sit. Take slow, deep breaths to help you remain calm and focused. When introduced to the interviewer, have a firm, but not painful, handshake. Smile. Have good posture when sitting or standing. Introduce yourself in a relaxed, confident manner. Have a well-groomed, professional appearance. Project a feeling of confidence. Bring extra copies of your resume, some thing to write on and something to write with.
Interviewers, whether they are from HR or from the actual department you’ll be working, want to recruit people who are energetic. Imagine for yourself: Would you rather have someone who is always on the go or someone who looks sleepy allthe time? In addition, if a person does not show much energy during the interview, the interviewer will think, “Geez, if this person cannot get excited about an interview, how is he or she ever going to be excited about the job?”There is one area where being energetic really pays off:.Many interviewers start with the question, “Tell me about yourself ?”. If you cannot enthusiastically talk about yourself for at least five minutes or so, the interviewer will wonder if you’ll be interested in your future job for much longer.
Behavorial questions are the ones that are open-ended, the ones designed to find out about your experience. This type of questions, common during mid-level interviews, have been on the rise for on-campus interviews as well. An example of the behavorial questions is, “Tell me a time when you were under extreme pressure, and how you handled it?”. Preparation makes a big difference in how you’d perform in answering this type of questions. Also, before you walk into the interview, think about the different situations that you have gone through, whether it be pledging for a fraternity (I personally find this a great one), completing a project, your part-time job, or any other situation you can think of. This way, when the questions come up, you won’t need to come up with the example right then and there.
An interview often develops into a discussion and then the interviewer might find you sincere for doing the ground-work.In most cases, the last question in an interview is “Do you have any questions?” Do not neglect it. This is your opportunity to speak. With a little bit of preparedness, you may grab this chance to start a short dialogue regarding the goals of the companies or the latest product it has launched. You can do this only if you have done some study on the company.
Now Prepare well people,All the best for your future.
Whether you are a serious athlete or someone who is on heart rate altering medication, it is important to know how to manually check your heart rate. A heart rate is the number of times a heart beats in one minute. It's important to know your heart rate at rest and during activity to measure how hard the heart is actually working. Checking your heart rate, or feeling for your pulse, can easily be achieved by feeling for a pulse in two areas of the body, the wrist or the neck. All you need when checking your pulse is two fingers, either a clock with a second hand or stopwatch, and paper and pen to record the result.
When checking for a pulse at the wrist, which is called the radial pulse, take the index and middle fingers and feel for a pulsation below the thumb. Be sure not to use the thumb when feeling for the pulse as it has its own pulse rate. Once the pulsation is felt count the number of beats for 30 seconds and take the result and multiply by 2. Be sure to record the result if you are keeping track of your heart rate.
When checking for a pulse at the neck, which is called the carotid pulse, again take the two fingers and feel for a pulsation in the neck just to the side of the windpipe just below the jaw. Be careful not to press too firmly on the neck as this may slow down the heart rate. Pressing too firmly may also cause lightheadedness or dizzyness. Count the beats for 30 seconds and multiply by 2, then record the result.
When checking for your pulse whether its by wrist or in the neck, the pulse should be at a steady rhythm. If the pulse seems to be out of rhythm, or irregular, also record this along with the heart rate. A normal adult heart rate is 60-100. Athletes may have heart rates as low as 40 and still be considered a normal heart rate. A heart rate over 100 is normal with exercise or exertion. Any concerns of irregular pulse rhythm, slow, or high heart rates should be discussed with your physician or health care provider. Also before starting a new exercise regime your physician or health care provider should be consulted.
Mix the all-purpose flours and cake flour together.
Dissolve salt and sugar in the water and set it aside.
Rub by hand the butter into the flour mixture, until it resembles a course mixture and the butter disappears. Now gently fold the water mixture into the flour mixture until a soft dough forms and set aside.
To soften the butter: sprinkle the 2 ozs flour onto the work surface and coat the butter with it. Pound the butter with a rolling pin to soften it and form it into a square about 1” thick and 6 -7 inches square. Place in the refrigerator for about ½ hour.
After the butter has cooled, dust the work surface with flour and turn the dough out onto it. Press the dough into a rough square about 1” thick. Don’t worry if the dough seems ropy and not smooth. Dust flour on the dough and roll out the 4 corners into flaps, about ¼” thick.
Place the butter square on to the dough, aligning it so that the corners of the butter are between flaps. Fold the flaps over the butter without stretching them. Make sure that no butter is exposed.
Now flip the package over and start rolling into a long rectangle about 2 ½ to 3 feet long and ½” think. Once that is achieved, fold each end about a fourth the way towards each other and then fold these sections on to each other, then fold in half. You will have something that looks like a book. Turn so that the “binding’ of the book is to your left and repeat rolling and folding. Let rest in the refrigerator for about ½ hour. Then repeat 2 more times.
You will then have wonderful home-made puff pastry that is out of this world.
Using a nicotine patch is an effective way to quit smoking as this method is affordable, easy to use, and eliminates all post-quitting nicotine cravings.
The first step is to NOT circle a quit date on your calendar. This will cause too much anxiety for most and will likely lead to avoidance and failure. Instead, ask a friend to chose a quit date for you, but keep it a secret. Next, buy your friend the highest strength nicotine patch on the market as well as a box of the next step in nicotine strength.
Your friend should make it a point to see you on several days in the next few weeks so that the ‘quit’ date remains a true surprise. On the actual quit date, your friend should come over in the late morning or meet your somewhere and put a single patch on your back, in a place that is a little hard to reach. Ask you friend to then collect, on that same day, all cigarette packs, ashtrays, lighters and matches in your home and vehicle. Don’t forget the ashtray in your car and any smoking paraphernalia at your place of work. You should help your friend collect all smoking paraphernalia.
Go to the local grocery store after your patch is on your back and buy a big bag of oranges. Often, when people quit smoking, they get terrible colds. The oranges will help prevent your cold and the act of peeling and eating oranges will keep you busy. Oranges are also low-fat and will help prevent you from snacking on chocolate and candy. A few bags of baby carrots can also help keep your fingers and mouth busy and will not lead to weight gain.
Are you enjoying the feeling of driving in your car without smoking? On the way home, take your car to a car wash and get it washed, inside and out. Treat yourself to a good, neutralizing product that will help remove the smell of smoke in your car.
While your car is being washed, make plans via cell or text with non-smoking friends (or friends willing to abstain for at least two weeks in your presence) to go out for the evening. Avoid clubs and bars and instead make plans to go out to a restaurant, take a walk, or have a game night. Plan in your head that you WILL allow your friends to congratulate you on your first smoke-free day. After you make your plans, update Facebook and Twitter via cell and let the world know you have quit smoking. This will add a little pressure on yourself to stay the course and you’ll enjoy the feedback.
Go home and spend some extra time primping, play some music, and maybe clean your house a bit; soon your house and clothing will smell completely smoke-free. Enjoy your evening with friends and keep those oranges and carrots handy.
Lastly, make sure you are very tired before you go to bed. Just before you pass out for the evening, put a fresh patch on your nightstand and rip off the old patch. If you leave the old patch on all night, you are likely to have bad dreams. Pat yourself on the back and have a great night’s sleep!
At just twenty calories a serving, asparagus offers a lot of bang for the calorie buck. It’s a great nutrient-dense source of fiber that is virtually fat-and cholesterol-free. Few home cooks have a lot of experience with asparagus and often pass it up in the market. Roasting or grilling asparagus is quick and easy and heightens the flavors, making it a perfect side dish to most any entrée.
Asparagus comes into season in the late spring and early summer. Choose asparagus that is bright and green with tight heads, which means it is fresh. Pick spears that are about the diameter of the pointer finger. If the spears are closer to the diameter of the pinkie finger, buy twice as much.
Give the asparagus a quick rinse in cool water. Instead of cutting away the woody stems, simply snap them off. The stalk will naturally break at the right spot.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then lay the asparagus spears side by side in one or two rows on the sheet. Drizzle a little extra-virgin olive oil over the spears. Add a bit of sea-salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Roast the spears in the oven for ten to fifteen minutes, depending on their size.
Give the pan a shake about half-way through cooking. The asparagus is ready to serve when it hot but still has a bit of bite to it. The tips will begin to brown. Don’t overcook or it will be mushy.
Asparagus can be grilled indoors or out.
Line up five or six spears side by side, then run a bamboo skewer perpendicularly through the through them about two-and-a-half inches from the top of the spears. Run a second skewer, parallel to the first, about an inch or so up from the bottom of the spears. Brush each “raft” of spears lightly with extra virgin olive oil, then salt and pepper to taste.
Set the “rafts” on the hot grill and cook for about five minutes on each side. The tips of the spears will start to brown. Do not overcook. Remove the skewers when plating the asparagus, or stack the rafts on a plate and let guests serve themselves.
I have been smoking for the last 7 years. I felt that it was a big challenge to quit smoking. I had a habit of getting more than two pack of cigarettes daily in the morning when I went to my job, since the shop was nearly half a mile away from my work place.
As a first measure I decided to reduce the number of cigarettes I buy and started getting only one pack of cigarettes. I found it difficult to do in the beginning as I found that my pack used to get exhausted by afternoon itself. Then I told myself that I will have a smoke only after a minimum of one and half hours, this worked to an extent but it required a lot of determination as I used to feel like go in for a smoke every now and then.
My friends where also one of the biggest reason for all this and slowly as a measure to reduce this I said that just now been for a smoke with another friend and thus maintained my timings. I used to divert myself and concentrate on something important while I felt like smoking or go in for a chat with someone who doesn’t smoke in the office. I was able to make it.
As a second measure I reduced this one pack also into half and landed smoking only 5 cigarettes a day. This continued for a month and then it got set into my system.
As a drastic measure I thought I would not buy cigarettes in the morning while I went to my office and that I would walk whenever I required one and then smoke, that had been the most efficient effect, because of my laziness it reduced to nearly 2 per day.
To substitute the cigarettes I finally used to buy chewing gums also an started having them whenever I felt like smoking and slowly stopped it for a day and then didn’t smoke for two days and finally I was able to stay without smoking for a week and that was a record break in my history and I was overjoyed.
The confidence that, when I can stay without smoking for a week boosted me a lot and I tried extending the duration and finally I was able to make it for two weeks and then a month and then two months and finally I totally got myself eradicated from the habit of smoking. I am really proud and happy that I did so. All my college friends were dumb folded when I went to my hometown, when they came to know that I had quit smoking since they new that I used to smoke minimum of a pack while I was with them.
They were also inspired to see such a drastic change in me and slowly they also started asking for tips and following the same and now nearly four of my close friends have quit smoking. I am happy that I had been the change that I had wanted to be and it paved way even for my friends to come back t the right track. I am really happy for what I am today, an individual who doesn’t smoke.
Unlike many Americans who are currently suffering from the obesity "epidemic," I was born a naturally large woman. Thus as a genetically large woman attending high school during the beginning of the crusade against obesity, I was targeted and ridiculed for my weight, because everyone assumed it was entirely my fault. I despaired, trying fad diets, horrible exercise regimes, all to no avail. It took until my final years in college for me to understand that it really wasn't my fault and that there is a safe way to lose weight. Let me share some tips, from someone whose genes are against her.
First and foremost, never starve yourself! Human beings have the right to a good meal, and starving yourself to lose weight will only make you miserable and the backlash even worse. I myself would have crash diets in which I'd lose poundage fast, but would gain it all back plus more a month or so later when I tired of not eating or the Christmas season (and the glorious stuffing my grandmother makes) came around to tempt me into indulgence.
Exercise is needed, but if you're like me, you bore easily. In my mind, there is nothing as boring as jogging around a track, over and over, alone with your thoughts. I'm sure many people find this repetitiveness and quiet relaxing and can compose whole symphonies in their heads, my thoughts usually revolved around my Id, a steady litany of, "I'm tired, this hurts, sweat is gross, forget this." Instead, take a walk around the neighborhood. If you're too shy for that (and it's understandable; people make fun of fat people for eating a bagel and exercising in public, a curious contradiction,) then turn it into a shopping trip. No one will question why you're at the grocery store getting groceries, but instead of whizzing through there with your stuff, go back across the store for something, go down every aisle, linger. Stretching out your daily routines helps in the long run, and is much more palatable.
Drinks lots of water. Not only is it good for you, but it really does help you lose weight. Now I'm sure we've all heard the "drink 8 glasses of water a day and you'll lose a pound" wives' tale, and there is some scientific proof to that of flushing out your system, but drinking lots of water does help. Sometimes when you have a hunger pang, it's not always because you're hungry; it may just be your body telling you that you're thirsty. Plus, once you get accustomed to drinking this much water daily, you won't want to indulge in sodas or other bad beverages. Hard to crave 'em when you're watered properly.
Last but not least, do not weigh yourself constantly. It will just make you obsessive about numbers. Now, checking your weight every now and then is perfectly reasonable, but no more than twice a week. You will notice the differences without looking at the scale, first in the way that you will feel more energetic, and second in how loosely your pants have been fitting lately.
If you want to lose weight fast, it doesn't have to be a chore. Don't let what the media and all the dieting books in the world tell you what works for you. Each individual has different motives, incentives, and physical necessities. Be true to yourself and for god's sake, eat that last doughnut.
I am software professional. My wife
was college mate. I am the fellow who has fallen in love with her at the very
first sight. After the completion of engineering, we informed our parents about
our idea of getting married. But we didn’t get much opposition from our family
as we expected. It took just three months for us to convince our family. Finally
it happened. Ours is a love marriage. We really had a great life together at
the beginning. But soon the circumstances changed. We had developed the habit
of fighting for nothing. We actually felt that we took the decision of getting
married so soon and it was terribly a wrong decision. Our relationship became
worse day by day. It was during that
time my wife was conceived. Even that never changed our life. We still were
fighting for nothing. During her delivery time, I was caught in a very
important meeting. So I left to Mysore. She was under the care of my
mother-in-law. My mother-in-law asked me to stay with her during her delivery. Since
I am the project leader, it became my responsibility to go out of station to
resolve the problem. Even my wife showed no sign of wanting me to stay with her.
And one more reason was that doctor was not sure of the delivery date. So I don’t
want to spoil my career by staying there with my wife. So I never felt that’s important
to stay with her. So I don’t want to
drop the plan of going to Mysore. My work in Mysore got over and started back
to my home town. That was the day I got call from my mother-in-law stating my
wife was taken to operation theater. My cool attitude vanished suddenly. I was
tensed to the core. The next call from my mother-in-law said that my wife is in
a very critical situation. That statement added fuel to the flame. Throughout my
journey towards my home town my thoughts circled only around my wife. I couldn’t
imagine the life without my beloved wife. She is not just my wife. She is my life.
She is everything to me. I remembered all those days we spent joyfully in our
college. I took an oath of living the rest of our life filled only with love. I
prayed god to save my wife at least for the sake to satisfy my oath. I rushed
into the hospital and amazed to see my wife with our child beside her. Her eyes
poured tears as soon she saw me. With the tears in her eyes, she asked me not
to go anywhere leaving her alone. It was at that moment I realized not only my
love for my wife but also my wife for me. I hurried towards her and throw an
urgent kiss on her forehead. I have kissed her many times before. But I felt as
though that was the first kiss. That kiss was the media for me to assure her
that I would stay with her forever. I could never forget my first kiss. Even she.
Isn't it a perfect first kiss?

For me, and many other professional landscapers, what really makes a lawn look good other than nice green grass is a good strong edge. I personally think the edge can make or break a property. By edge, i refer to the where the grass meets the sidewalk or curb.
There are several different techniques to achieve this manicured look. The first, being purchasing and using an edging device. There are two basic kinds. The first is a push device that spins the blade and runs on usually 3 wheels. The second is more like a weedeater but has the blade head of an edger.
I personally prefer the weedeater stand up style, but that is just a preference. Optimum edge can be obtained by either. Remembering a few key pointers while operating an edger will help keep that edge looking nice rather than like a mangled mess. First always make sure it is try. A blade edge in wet/semi-wet conditions will cause a muddy mess. If it needs edging and its wet I would recommend using the string method which will be discussed later. While edging don't go too fast.
Sometimes, to get a good cut you may have to back the edger back over what you just cut and run through it again. Let the edger ride the side of the concrete but don't press it up against it. Not only will it make the edge jerky looking but it will grind your blade down to a nub faster than desired. Always make sure that you have the depth setting set right. Too high and you really wont cut much of an edge, too deep and it could get messy. As the blade wears down you will need to adjust the setting. Corners and curves can be tricky. On corners, take your time and get the blade set up again. Dont try to make a 90 degree turn with the blades running. On curves however you dont want to go too slow. Curves are the one spot where you want to move through a decent pace but not too fast as you still want a nice cut. In all, A blade edger is going to give you a nicer stronger edge. But you do not need to use the blade edge every time.
The string method of edging is much more popular mainly due to the fact that you dont have to buy anything extra if you own a weedeater. Also, once you have a good edge cut with a blade, i find it best to use a string edge to keep up the maintenance on it. Just let the string ride the edge hole and you'll find a nice smoothcut.
Their is much debate over the correct method to hold a weedeater while edging. I feel the best way is to hold it straight up (trigger point out away from you) and use your small finger to hold the trigger down. This allows you to keep the head at a 90% angle from the ground and puts the cut straight down from you where you can monitor it much closer. The trick i use to edging smoothly is taking long steps. Less steps the less jerks which makes it the cut straighter. I also choose to walk backwards while edging. Most people can step backwards while holding an edger smoother than they can forward and while edging with a string, it is your upper body that keeps it straight. Doing this a higher powered weedeater is usually the best. I try to run as long of a string as i can while edging. I feel this keeps it from jerking as much. The main thing is to take your time and just be smoother.
Blade edging is by far the best, but i do feel that the string edger is best to use to compliment it after the main work has been done. Don't expect your first string edging to look decent. My first couple of weeks doing it left the edge winding like a snake. With time and patience, you can make your edge look professional and really make your yard stand out.
